real time, real life...

Google just launched their real time search yesterday. It's not really a huge deal because facebook status updates, tweets, smart phones, and, well, the internet, allow us to easily get in touch with the latest news. Unless you were living under a rock without internet connection, I am sure you heard about Michael Jackson's death within the hour it happened. Working for an internet privacy company who is always on top of the latest tech gadgets and social media happenings makes me feel like the world is moving way too quickly. I'm surrounded by people who are so plugged in with what is going on in the whole internet world, I am constantly finding myself feeling left in the dark.

Talking about life moving to quickly, I recently found a new interest (I might even go out on a limb and call him my new love interest). Yes, I did just drop the L-bomb. People call us crazy since it has only been 2 months but crazy is definitely what make us "us." People say we're moving to fast, but I've always been a strong believer of taking every opportunity and just milking it for its worth. For the last 9 years I've been in the dating world, I feel like this is the first time I'm not settling for anything less than what I actually want. The holiday season is just around the corner and I am so glad I have someone special to share it with this year.

There Will Be Fireworks - In Excelsis Deo
